'Fraid so.
We approach each new song with open minds. The person who has the initial ideas cannot predict the end result as the original material gets passed around - each of us using the previous version as a springboard for new ideas, treatments and arrangements. This method of working is made easier by the fact that we compose using MIDI sequencing software, only learning to play our parts once we feel a song is completed to our mutual satisfaction. As a collective, we have an extremely mixed bag of musical influences. Elements that may or may not come across in the music include National Health/Hatfield & the North/Bruford, Gentle Giant, UK, Jeff Beck, early Yes, but mostly we've tried to do what sounded good and original, rather than imitate the sound of our favourite bands. 'Head' (2000) and now 'Argot' (2001), our independently released CD's, are both available worldwide...
